Al-faatehah.

Cung

Kali ini, izinkan sekali lagi bagiku

melantunkan

sapa bagimu lewat surat pada secarik kertas yang kubentuk pesawat lalu kuterbangkan dari tebing yang mampu kau temukan di pegunungan;

rindu yang menemaniku, yang kurangkai dalam kisah dan kupasrahkan pada debu jalanan dan angin malam;

(Bukankah tiada pernah habis keajaiban-Nya?)

Cung, kapan-kapan,
bertemu lagi ya.

Posko Banjir Sahabat Anak Manggarai

Salah satu posko banjir warga.

Siapakah diaaa....

Mbak Cynthia ABThree

Ya, beliau adalah mbak Cynthia Lamusu (AB Three/Be3). Selain membawa sumbangan, mbak Cynthia ternyata juga membawa 'bingkisan' lain untuk adik-adik korban banjir. Mbak Cythia memasak Milu Siram alias sup jagung ala Gorontalo.

Makan sore. We are going to eat sup jagung Gorontalo
buatan mbak Cynthia. Slurrrp. Yummy!

Milu Siram / Sup jagung ala Gorontalo buatan mbak Cynthia.

Hari sudah sore. Setelah kenyang, adik-adik pun akhirnya pulang.

Saya bersama adik-adik Sahabat Anak Manggarai.
Terima kasih, Sahabat Anak!
Sampai bertemu di kesempatan berikutnya!

Camping @3Uphoria2012

Last weekend (16-17 November 2012 to be exact), I had a camp with my classmate. This event was held at Bumi Perkemahan Agro Mas Bogor as the part of KSPK (Kapita Selekta Pengembangan Kepribadian) course. We departed from campus on Friday morning and arrived about two hours later. We were divided into several groups for games. I was in team with Fitria, Sayuti, Dhimas, and Ridho.

The event was very great and cool although it was raining so hard at the time. We had a lot of fun for sure. We cooked the meals by ourselves, took a midnight walk for roasted corn, and singing together all the times. Our lecturer, Mr. Satria, was coming too. Well, not much that I can say. Pics will tell you everything ;)

One Little Slice of High School Memento

A bit outdated news, but well.. Yep, it's about bullying case that happened few weeks ago in my high school.

In my high school, we have some extracurricular activities we can apply in freely, based on what we want and like. One of those excul, let's just call it 'SSC'.

Well, honestly until even now I don't really understand what this community moves on, or maybe I'm just forget. Things I know are they keep our school safe from outsider (you know, high school brawl and such), they always gather at Saturday night - Sunday morning, and they are so cool, especially because their family bond is so strong that put many people into jealousy, including me ;)

One of my bestfriends is a member of this community. So I know pretty much about it.

Back to the bullying case, so SSC have such kind of tradition for recruiting new members. And all of the applicants have to follow all rituals. Well, the problem, which lead us to the bullying case, is the rituals are all physical and, well, somewhat harsh. Mainly only running, sit up, push up, etc, and.. fighting. And skip skip skip, all members will surely come home with bruises all over their body. Please don't ask if I'm agree about this tradition or not. When my bestfriend was being in this recruitment processing, I couldn't sleep all night and checking my phone every single minute. I was all worried. He had told me not to worry though. In the end, he and his friends came home with bruises but they seem to be really happy so I thought it's okay.

Unfortunately, in this year, the procession didn't go really well. The seniors seems to get difficulty to hold their self, and.. well.. bullying case. Two applicants has to be hospitalized and his parents, of course, got so mad about it.

Finally, SSC is now officially disbanded. It really makes me sad. Because one, they are like real family; two, my bestfriend love it so much that he must be really sad..; three, although I'm not a member, SSC holds a little but special part of my high school memory.

I don't know all of them. But I'm sure they are all nice people. And I'm quite sure, even they are disbanded, they will never break up. They are not people who will give up easily.

Miles away there, "SAKLAWASE!"

Thank you for the memories.
Always be forever.

People Change. Au Revoir?

I've been living in this world for 19 years. I meet a lot of people, repeating hello and goodbye for a lot of times, fall in love, and found my heart broken. Yet, this world is beautiful.

I am close with some people. Those people I share happiness, tears, and secrets with. People I love so much that they don't even have to love me back. Family, bestfriends, special friends. Yet, I can't say I know them really much.

People change. So do I.

I don't cry for candies anymore. I don't laugh too hard. Well, for something really funny - yes, I do. Now, I enjoy reading newspaper and watching news channel. I even love veggies. Well, I start becoming an old, boring person.

But I still love chocolate, the darkest one. I enjoy wasting my times, sleep beneath the night sky, or watching animes. I love playing games too. Traditional or modern is okay. I hope it would help.

A baby I saw ten years ago is now a beautiful little girl. Start learning things on the world, feeling the real happiness and pain. She's my youngest little sister, Elinna.

And there's no little girl who always follow me wherever I go, whatever I do, and agree for everything I say. We start to argue and get mad to each other. But for me, our little fights are really fine. She's my first little sister, Elin.

Mother and Father always be the best people in my life. It's like they never change. Dad is always the smartest and strongest man in my life, and Mom's beauty is never fade, it's even grow more and more.

Many people enter my life. Many people leave too.
Yangkung, Mbahti, Mbahkung, Rio, dek Diah.
Maybe they didn't go. Maybe they actually stay forever. Immortality.

We didn't talk much at the beginning we knew each other. We said hello without look to each other's eyes. We laughed so awkwardly. But now, meeting you guys is my favorite time. Waiting you come to my house is like ritual for me. They are my high school bestfriends: Ikhsan, Solla, and Tian.

I can say that maybe they are the bravest, wild, and naughtiest girls in my life. They jumped to my life from somewhere and caused me a little heart-attack few times. But they taught me about loyalty and without them, high school was maybe the most boring time in my life. And now, they are a lawyer-going-to be and a doctor-going-to-be. They are, my sweet girls, Pritha and Reta.

She is my first bestfriend. I always love her smile. Her hair is very pretty. She accompanied me applying to high school. She was with me when I first time had my wallet stolen. She was the first person who looked after me in the hospital after I had a critical motorcycle accident. It was like we will stay like that forever. That we will be an everlasting bestfriends. But now, it has been four years since we didn't talk to each other. Her name is, uh, Yupe.

And here is the boy I knew in high school. He is very kind and sweet. We dated for months before we broke up and stay just as friends. The trivia that we come from a very different world is always burden my mind, even from the very first time I knew him. Diversity between he ad I is a thing I always deny and don't want to really care. But now, distance between us is even more far. That happy and a bit shy boy is now a man with cars, beers, bars, and socialite life. I feel like I don't really know him at all. That makes me feel strange and sad. But for me, whatever he is right now, he is still that kind and sweet boy I know and never change.

Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts, or fears.
But I can listen to you,
and together we will search for answers.

I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.

Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
and help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
and put them back in place.

I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.

maaf ya foto-fotonya saya hapus... :)
I called them 'bestfriend'
Forever missed, never forgotten.

Girls Day Out : Haikara Sushi

Back to my previous post, right after the hair spa, we looked for a little lunch. And since Rizka very loves Japanese cuisine, we went to Haikara Sushi in Lotte Mart. It was just opened so we still got a chance for discount! Yay!

Discount!

The sushi bar.

The J-Lover girl, Rizka.

Sushi platter. Nice.

My favorite! Salmon skin sushi. Only 12K IDR!

Here it goes.. the score:

Foods : 8/10 (special for Salmon skin sushi <3)
Price : 6/10 (The taxes are killing)
Facility : 7/10

Overall : 7/10

Ja, mata ^_^

Girls Day Out: Sari Salon and Spa.

Last Wednesday, my class got an unexpected free day. So I and my friend, Rizka, thought of doing some girl stuffs. It had been a long time since last time I took extra treatment for my hair. Therefore we decided to go to hair salon and our choice fell into "Sari Salon and Spa", located in sector 7 Bintaro Jaya, in front of Lotte Mart.

I never had visited to this salon before and neither did Rizka. But our friends gave a good recommendation so we were like why not. This place is not hard to find. We found it pretty quickly. We were a bit surprised when read the treatments' prices. It only costs 18K IDR for hair creambath and over all, all prices are also low. It's really cheap for Jakarta's standard even if compared to Semarang. That made us very curious about trying all treatments but at last Rizka and I only choose hair spa for kind of 'trial'.

So...

SORRY I GOT MY PICS TO BE REMOVED ;)

I just spent 30 IDR for hair spa and Rizka 70K because she took hair blow too and her hair is very long. And just like the usual hair spa, we got some massages too which is, sadly, kinda disappointing. Anyway, I suggest you to visit at weekday because at the weekend, this hair salon is sooo busy and full. Oh, and this salon is open to male too, with separated room for female of course.

In the end, for "Sari Salon and Spa", I give this score:

Treatment : 7/10
Price : 9/10
Facility : 7/10

Overall : 7.5/10

Thus, next time I will come again to this hair salon, trying another treatment. See you later! ;)

Train Adventure in Jakarta and TM Jambore Sahabat Anak

Last week, my friends and I were going to attend Jambore Sahabat Anak Technical Meeting. We planned on get there together since the venue some distance from our house and riding our own vehicle is somewhat dangerous. After some considerations, we agreed to use KRL (Commuter Line). I was so excited because after two years live in Jakarta, I never went somewhere here using train :D

So Sunday (17/06), we had met in campus first before went to the rain station. We missed our train since some of us were late because they had important schedule at the time. We were quiet afraid of can't be at the venue on time but luckily, we got a train (economic class though) that go towards Jakarta Kota.

Economic Class ticket
Inside the train.

We decided to change train in Kampung Bandan Station to Commuter Line because KRL is faster and more comfortable.

Kampung Bandan Station

And finally, we got there: Museum Bank Mandiri
It's a relief we were on time :)

We were briefed about how Jambore Sahabat Anak schedule and what we got to prepare. There was also a little workshop about how we should deal with children and how to treat them right. I was so excited! After the workshop, they announced groups division and we gathered with our group. I'm responsible in Kebayoran group. I was acquainted with some friends from other colleges and even some of my the group member is graduated already! I hope we can make a great team together :)

After the Technical Meeting, my friends and I go to Kota Tua for early dinner. Kota Tua was so crowded since it was weekend. The special thing we can find in this place every weekend is street musicians! They gathered and performed there and they are undoubtedly awesome! Unfortunately, we got to be fast since it was almost night and we didn't want to miss the train to return home.

I got home by 9 PM. I caught flu because I forgot to bring jacket (uh). It was too quick >_< I will surely travel around Jakarta again. One full day. Yeah! Because Jakarta is not about traffic and mall. There are a lot of unique, interesting, and historical places worth to visit. I really want to go to Soe Hok Gie's cemetery anyway.

Thanks for reading! Have a nice day, readers!

Saya mulai menyendok es pisang ijo milik saya. Kedua adik saya pun mengikuti. Dalam suapan pertama, ekspresi mereka berdua mendadak berubah menjadi semangat untuk melahap es pisang ijo milik mereka. Saya tertawa melihat binar-binar di mata mereka berdua. “Kalian kok ndeso banget, sih. Hehehe,” canda saya.

Do You?

Do you promise that you will not give up
until your heart beats no more
and your wings will shatter upon the floor?

And if your time does end
do you promise me
that you will fly into heavens
and then fly away
far away then?

But if your heart will fall
I will stitch it back
into its rightful place
among the stars in the highest heavens

And if your time does end
do you promise me
that someday you will fly back into my hands
and do you promise me your love?

Do you remember when you could fly into the night sky
Do you?

2010 Back Then

Two years ago, we said,
"It's OK. We still have two years to be together."
We laughed. Promise our self that we will cherish every second we have.
Now, we're counting down time, what's left from our two years is just days.

I will miss you a lot.
Take care.

A Missed Dream.

Yesterday, I watched a movie titled Dear John. This movie tells about a couple who undergo a long-distance relationship (LDR) because John, the main male character, is an army. And this movie reminds me to my old, childhood, dream. Being an army.

Why do I want to be an army?

Maybe some people will say "no way" when they hear it. Funny eh? But yes, dude, that's my dream. I don't mind cutting my hair short like a man, having a hard training and exercise everyday, maybe boys will keep their distance with me. Which is, I will be a little late to get married. Haha. But really, that doesn't matter.

And I really understand it would not be easy, beautiful like Disney or another happy ending movie.

For me, it's a honor to be able to serve my country that way. And not just about dedication to the homeland, it's about dedication to life of every human. Dedication to the justice. Dedication to God. There is a lot of ways to do those, but my soul desires that way.

I'm not afraid of risk I would face ahead. I'm not afraid of leaving my beloved persons for months, maybe years. And I'm not afraid of using guns, and get shot by it too. I never be afraid of it.

I'm surprised realizing how passion could give you so much strength and courage. How passion could give you so much hopes.

Being an army - a dream I got to forget since I'm using glasses. One big regret in my life.

And sometimes when I see myself in the mirror, I ask myself. Am I capable to it? Is it just a dream for a moment?

Now I'm walking in a different way. I'm saying goodbye to that dream. But the hope never been really disappear. If it's not now, it will in the future or perhaps in another life. I believe it.

For now, I will do my best in this way. A true warrior never complaining.
I maybe not a soldier now, but my soul is.

L'Arc~en~Ciel World Tour 2012 - Jakarta

Last week (May 2, 2012), L'Arc~en~Ciel came to my country (*≧▽≦) They held a concert in Jakarta as part of their World Tour for celebrating their 20th anniversary.

The news of their comings had came months before. Its euphoria was awesome. The ticket was sold out in minutes, even the most expensive ones. That's not surprising actually since the amount of fans of Cielers (fans of L'Arc~en~Ciel) in Indonesia is very huge.

And alhamdulillah, I got this rare opportunity ♥
Exactly one day before the event! Oh, so close! ε-(´・`)

So the next day, I went to the concert with my friends. We arrived at about 4 P.M. We aren't allowed to bring camera and foods so we had to buy beverages inside the area (the price is, uh, 'amazing'). And since I hadn't had ate anything since the night before, we bought some hot-dogs.

And as expected, the crowd was spectacular.

In the front gate.
My friends and I split into three groups because we didn't buy same type of ticket. I, mas Gege and his little sister went to the front of the field. We stood and waited for hours. We prayed the rain wouldn't come because the organizer said that they would delay the concert if rainy. And finally... the concert began O(≧∇≦)O

Yayyy!!

He's cute, funny, and really love his guitar.

His name is...

Ken (Guitar)

Yes. That one lucky person is Ken Kitamura, the guitarist. He caught all my attention and my eyes (and heart. LOL.) was all with him.

So, let's have one extra photo of him then.

He seems to really enjoy the music. That's why I love his performance.

Here is the song list of their performance :

3. Goodluck My Way
4. Honey
5. Drink it Down
6. Revelation
7. Hitomi no Jyuuunin
8. XXX (Kiss)

Hyde cried while singing this song. At the same time, a girl beside me collapsed and got to be dragged into the backstage or somewhere.

11. My Heart Draws a Dream
12. Seventh Heaven
13. Driver's High
14. Stay Away
15. Ready Steady Go

("Apakah kamu mau pisang gua? Atau kamu mau jilat lollipop gua?" LMAO)

("Man.. Man.. Man.. Tab~")

Press conference.

And finally the show ended.
They left the stage. Tetsu returned again to share some bananas and lollipop. And I got to go home because I have early class the next morning (bye Ken T_T)

They promise to come again next year. I wish they really will because I really curious about Ken gems they wear on their performance (I have a hobby in gemstones), and maybe if I can have one of theirs (But how? Hmm, sneaking in their room maybe? Oops.) Expect less lah :)

Ah great show, nice performance, beautiful night.

Me, after the show. Taken by someone's camera (duh, I forgot her name). She and I was at the front line :p
I was beside a Japanese girl using bikini (I wonder if she caught flu or not. It was very freezy!) and Aelke Mariska (Pocari Sweat advertisement video model). Cool huh?

Souvenirs I got: VIP Package (Exclusive L'Arc~en~Ciel towel, VIP Card), VIP ticket and bangle, light stick, star shaped light stick I got free from the organizer, paperfan, etc. Didn't but anything from the merch corner due to my financial condition :p)

Special thanks to :
1. The Almighty, Allah SWT, for giving me this opportunity ♡
2. Mas Arya, for the ticket (Doumou arigatou~~ ( ´ ▽ ` ))
3. Kak Gege and his little sister, Kak DS, Kak Teta, Kak Rendra, etc. for being with me all night.
4. The event organizer
5. L'Arc~en~Ciel
Arigatou Ken, Hyde, Tetsu, Yuki for coming to Indonesia.
If you know how long we have waited for this event and how happy we are.

It has been a week but the euphoria is still so strong.
We'll be waiting for your next comings!
